herbs up

Snow, as little as we had, is gone and the perennial herbs are poking up!

There are 12 clumps of chives, 3 little sprigs of tarragon, 7 tips of mint, and 4 clumps of sage. Mint is great as calming mild tea.  Tarragon chopped fine in scrambled eggs is divine. Sage is wonderful with meat and in gravies. Chives take the place of onions in everything.
