Saw our first green, round tomato. It is only the size of a golf ball, but its the first I have seen. There have been many, many blossoms, so the season looks good. Saw two more random plants come up. Don’t know what they are, but the neighbor hopes they are the small sweet minis from last year. She picked them by the handfuls. I said it was ok if they were on her side of the fence.

Plants are covered with little berries which are starting to show some red. Can’t wait for them to ripen! They are so sweet. Birds don’t seem to be bothering them much. I put flash tape up to scare the birds off, which doesn’t bother the bees’ pollinating exuberance.
Found a surprise baby pumpkin on the volunteer plants in the herb bed. It is just 2 inches now, but will be larger and orange by September. More pictures then.
Yes, that is how high the animal corn has gotten. I am under the hat at 5 foot 4 and the corn is at least 6 feet tall. Wow. It is only June.
