Had a whopper of a thunderstorm storm last evening. Worst I have seen in a long while. Put the electricity out for hours and into the night. We have surge protectors for the fridge, freezer and computers, but the clocks show an outage of more than 2 hours. We have emergency lighting, candles, flashlights and batteries, and gas heat and stove. It was challenging washing dishes by candlelight, though.
