Sad day
Sad day at the farm. One of my oldest chickens has died. We have a little out-of-the-way spot for our pets so she will lie undisturbed.

We have a sticky fly trap in the kitchen, but today I found a mouse stuck to it. Outside I poured vegetable oil on him where he was stuck and he came right off. Not happy, but alive. Gotta buy a new flytrap.
Yes, that is how high the animal corn has gotten. I am under the hat at 5 foot 4 and the corn is at least 6 feet tall. Wow. It is only June.
